She actively teaches master&#8217;s and doctoral students at the University of Indonesia, Jakarta and the Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University in Yogyakarta. She has a PhD in Religious Studies from the Indonesian Consortium for Religious Studies (ICRS) at Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
