Dr Baskara T. Wardaya SJ is a historian and Jesuit priest. He teaches history, religion, politics and cultural studies at Sanata Dharma University in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Dr Wardaya is also the Head of PUSDEMA (Centre for Democracy and Human Rights Studies) and Chairman of the JRS (Jesuit Refugee Service) Indonesia Foundation. His research focuses on international relations between the US and Indonesia during the Cold War.
