Mona Behnke is a PhD candidate in Social and Cultural Anthropology at Freie Universität Berlin, Germany. In her PhD project, she focuses on the emotional labor of social aid workers in a women’s crisis center in Java, Indonesia, touching on issues of emotions, gender, and conflict management.
Ronja Eberle researches at the intersection of gender studies and Southeast Asian studies. In her doctoral project (Humboldt University), she uses a postcolonial-feminist perspective to examine the question of how knowledge about Indonesia’s 2008 anti-pornography law was produced in the context of glocal political relations.
Achmad Mirza is cameraperson and video editor with SEKAT Studio, a multidisciplinary collective that explores and reinterpretes the values of “ghosts” in a variety of mediums. He completed his studies in Information and Document Management at the University of Indonesia.
Iskandar Muda is writer and director at SEKAT Studio. He studied Educational Psychology at the State University of Jakarta.
