Rudi Mariyanto was born in Palembang and completed his art studies with a focus on painting at the Institute of the Arts in Yogyakarta in 2013. Even before getting started with his art studies, he had participated in group exhibitions in Indonesia. Since then, his works have been shown in dozens of group exhibitions on regional and national levels.
